Billing questions

Do you charge per user?

No. Every paid plan includes unlimited team members — program staff, outreach workers, coordinators, and leadership can all work in the same system. We price on the scale of your work: records, email volume, and AI use.

What counts as a record?

Every contact and every organization in your workspace counts as one record. Emails, notes, files, and activity don't.

What happens when we reach our record limit?

You'll see a heads-up at 80%. At the limit, nothing is deleted or locked — you just can't add new records until you add room. Add 2,500 records at a time for $15/month without changing plans, or move up a plan. Email and AI allowances reset each calendar month.

Can we change plans later?

Anytime, from Settings → Billing & plan. Moving up or down is prorated on your next invoice. Switching between monthly and annual starts the new term right away.

What if we cancel?

Your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for, then the workspace moves to Pilot. If you have more records than Pilot allows, it becomes read-only — your data stays intact and exportable.

What if a payment fails?

Stripe retries automatically and you keep full access for a 14-day grace period while you update your card. After that the workspace is read-only until the balance is paid.

Do prices include tax?

Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout from your billing address. Tax-exempt organization? Add your EIN at checkout and email your exemption certificate to billing@rangelab.io— we'll mark your account exempt.

Can we pay by invoice, ACH, or check?

Email billing@rangelab.iowith the plan you want and we'll set up invoiced billing for your organization.
